Want to test your body's acid level quickly? Get pH litmus strips from your local health food store to quickly and efficiently test the acid level of your body. Simply touch the paper to your tongue for a moment and compare the results to the color chart. (Ideally test your saliva pH before eating in the morning, or at least one hour after eating.) For urine pH, place the litmus paper in a urine sample taken before eating in the morning or 3 hours after eating.
